Before we get too knee-deep into November, I wanted to share one last photo from Halloween 08 with the blogger crowd. Here were two of my favorite costumes from the party Friday. They are a mother-daughter duo, creative kin extraordinaire. Check out those eyes on Ms. Deville — the contrast of light blue and black is spectacular. But truly, my favorite was Laundry Lady with the Tide canister on her head and laundry basket around her waist. Like many of us, she clearly has found escaping the mounting laundry pile a daunting, impossible task. And though it looks haphazard, LL told me she very selectively chose from among the pile of offerings, including pieces which most frequently show up on Laundry Day (ahhh, they even held special meaning to her). Together, my party-going friends probably spent a total of $20 on their fun attire. Anyway, I thought LL in particular would be a hit with the parenting blog. The ever-engulfing laundry pile has come to life!
