We had a lovely time at the family Halloween party. As luck would have it, two Secret Service agents showed up to guard us throughout the night, and the paparazzi stayed reasonably respectful. Best of all, little Trigg was an absolute angel. Not a peep from our youngest; just laid in Daddy’s arms contentedly the whole night. (Isn’t Daddy “Todd” the best?)
Happy November, and remember, get out and vote!!! (And set your clocks back Sunday, as my mother just reminded me…thanks Mom.)

You just got two votes!( One for you and one for the first dude) I am glad you were surrounded by the secret, secret service..were they disguised as small children dressed in costumes? Were there five of them? You might be related to them?? LOL..Hope you had a great time! 🙂

Far Side,
Oh, that’s a cute visual, but actually, the Secret Service folks were some of the party-goers, a husband and wife team. We didn’t plan this and didn’t know of the others’ getups beforehand, but the four of us made the perfect “double date” and hung out together a lot of the night while our little ghouls lingered in the basement with the rest of the kids, floating up every so often for a drink or some treats. Anyway, we adults really played that one up. Whenever either Todd or I would move, our uniformed friends would be there at the ready, keeping masked “strangers,” pirates, punk rockers and other wayward folks from harming us. Come November 4, we’ll be safe and ready for whatever’s next. 🙂
