I have to admit something: I’m not a big fan of change. Which is why it took me a little while to join the Substack community. But a year ago, I attended a writer’s retreat, and the case was made well enough to nudge me to give it a whirl. I’m now a year into it, and have to admit, it’s a lot of fun over there. And I’m hoping my subscribers to this website will consider hanging out with me there for my latest writings, and even more chances to interact.
I plan to keep this website for now, and maybe forever, but it’s mainly a portal for my petals–more archive than the freshest writings. Substack is free. Some writers get paid, and I do have a handful of paid subscribers, for which I am grateful. But it’s more about community, connection, and keeping the juices flowing. If you’ve enjoyed my ponderings in the past, I hope you’ll take a chance and meet me at the Substack water cooler.
