Step by step, my new website/blog is coming together. This weekend, in between visiting a friend who buzzed into town from Colorado, and watching my godson and other young friends in our school’s spring musical, “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers,” which was so.much.fun…!, and helping my girls make final preparations for their spring choir tour in Colorado (that state keeps popping upon my horizon), I found just enough time to cobble together an introduction on the “About” page here.
I enjoyed pulling together these pieces of my life — just enough to get things started. Those who have known me for a long time might learn a new thing or two. I’m hoping others will just plain enjoy the introduction. I want this website to be professional, but not too stuffy. Life’s too serious and short to get too weighty. I want to add a little sunshine amidst the clouds.
Speaking of keeping things light and fun, it was a neat surprise to open our daily newspaper on Friday — The Forum, the one for which I write as a regular contributor — and find a little mention of Ramona’s story that I co-authored — “Redeemed by Grace.” The splash of color made me smile, too.
It’s been a little gray here this weekend. I’m looking forward some real sunshine soon. How about you?
Q4U: So, did you learn anything new about me through perusing my “About” section? What don’t I know about you yet?

Thanks Vicky! I don’t know why I didn’t see this comment yesterday, but I’m glad to see it now. Thanks so much for being one of those rare, faithful followers. You are a good and true friend, Ms. Westra! 🙂
