Feeling the need for a little quiet time as I process the loss of my friend Lee, who died a few days ago. Of course, I’d never turn away a prayer or two.
Here she is, back in second grade when we first met.
Eternal rest grant to Lee, O Lord
And may perpetual light shine on her.
May her soul and the soul of all faithful departed
rest in peace.
