Hi Roxane,
I’m sure by now you’re home and getting all kinds of hugs! (And walking around picking up the house while listening to all of the adventures your children had during the week!) You’ll have to let us know how you ease back into reality after having the break! I’m sure it will take some adjustment. But you’re right, God is good to have given you the break and time to refresh!

Hi Roxane,
I took some time tonight to read through all your posts from St. Ben’s. It was fun to read the series all in one sitting! ๐ Sounds like you had a lovely time. How wonderful to take time away to focus on your writing and take care of only your own needs and not worrying about anyone else.
Totally random, but did you gain or lose weight? Or stay the same? ๐ Whenever my husband leaves town, I lose weight because I cook less for everyone… wondering if you ate less for the same reason.
Loved the letter to your daughter – and the post about your muse. I have to admit, and only to you and your readers, that I’m maybe, just maybe, starting to think of myself as a writer — and not just a woman with a loud mouth and a blog. Your post about the muse made me seriously think about my writing process. It’s strange because I write professionally for work all the time and so I think of writing as a skill I have, not necessary a passion. That said, I’ve found recently that I’m getting more passionate about my personal writing – my blogging. I really enjoy it and wonder if I need to start stretching myself even more. Hmmmmmm…..
Back to you, so glad you got the air conditioner figured out. The weather was crazy-hot and it would have been pretty miserable without air conditioning!
Thanks for sharing your journey –
Missy
