What a weekend! What a month, actually. There doesn’t seem to be a slow-down anytime soon to the mad month of May.
This weekend’s agenda included two soccer games, dance recital practice, the year-end Girl Scout awards ceremony, a Junior Girl Scout bronze award honor dinner, and then, finally, the dance recital itself, which is always such a beautiful finale. We have a tradition on recital day of having some girl time at the coffee shop when it’s all danced and done. This year was no different. No boys allowed.
I’m off tomorrow for Jamestown for the rescheduled, multi-school author visit. I look forward to sharing pieces of my time in that area with y’all soon.
Peace!

What a nice tradition to take your girl out special!! Embrace these times, she will be grown and gone before you know it! I miss my two daughters SO much!

Having people like you in my life does help me to embrace these times. I have learned all too well how quickly it passes by. Thanks for the reminder to live in the present!
