This world of online connectedness continues to amaze me. I discovered tonight that by simply writing a post in which I mentioned Jan Brett (children’s author), a link to my blog appeared on her website under “Blogs ‘n Books.” I attended a conference for children’s authors several years ago, and the session on website presence relied heavily on Jan’s site to show an example of what’s possible for authors. It’s an amazing site that includes over 1,000 pages to peruse. Here’s a link to the “Blogs ‘n Books” page where Peace Garden Mama is referenced: www.janbrett.com/blogs_n_books/blogs_n_books_main_page.htm
I just thought of something. Do you suppose this post will be linked too? (That wasn’t my goal in sharing this — promise!) Either way, I am hoping to hear from Jan. I wrote a little email message to her when I was visiting her site and will eagerly anticipate an answer. Hopefully her gingerbread bus is humming along now, approaching its next destination.
