Weirdness

“Mom, that kinda looks kinda weird…[pronounced: wee-uhd]” — 3-year-old, upon walking nonchalantly into the kitchen of my friend’s house this morning, only to find me perched upon a stool with foil pieces sticking out pell-mell from my “mop” (hair-coloring session). Translation: “Lady, you are nutso!” (Aren’t kids kind, the way they word things? Could have been so much more brutal.)

I will spare you the visual of the actual scene but will provide, instead, a little moment of weirdness I witnessed last week — said child getting all googley-eyed.
